Monitoring Centre

The cornerstone of any security company is its Monitoring Centre. This is where alarms are received, patrols are dispatched and clients are contacted. We undertake the monitoring of our client’s security systems via our own state-of-the-art security monitoring centre located in Tamworth, New South Wales.

We currently monitor the security systems of over 4,000 clients. These range from private residences to large corporations, hospitals, aged care facilities, schools and local government authorities.

While there are Australian Standards for security monitoring centres, there are no compelling laws for companies to meet them. Our clients can be assured that their security systems are monitored by a facility that meets the highest specifications.

Quality Certification

We are Quality Certified to ISO 9001:2008 standards. Our systems and procedures have been specifically designed to ensure that we provide responsive and quality assured security services of the highest possible standard.

Physical Construction

• Constructed of double brick walls with concrete slab floors and ceilings
• The centre has no windows
• All doors to control room are bullet-proof and none open directly onto the street
• Electronic access readers control all access to our building and to the Monitoring Station
• The perimeter of the premises is under 24 hour recorded video surveillance
• A diesel generator can run the station in the event of power outage
• Totally self-contained staff amenities within the Monitoring Centre

Monitoring Hardware & Software

• The latest Access Detection System for Windows (ADSW) software which provides superior monitoring capability
• A wireless back-up system in the event of telephone line failure
• Ability to provide Telstra Secure services
• Immediate actioning of all alarms
• Full supervision of arming and disarming If you forget to arm your system we will remind you or send a patrolman to check on your premises and arm the system for you
• A variety of emailed or faxed activity reports available on demand or periodically as required
• On-site ‘real time’ back up of all data on ‘mirror’ servers
• Off-site automatic daily back up of all data
• Flexible alarm response tailored to the client’s individual requirements
• All phone calls to and from the monitoring centre are recorded for verification and quality assurance purposes

Staff Training and Development

• Operators are trained using the National Competency Standards, Enterprise Competency Standards and Assessment Guides for Monitoring Centre Operators.
• Monitoring centre operations are subject to regular internal and external review

Licensed Staff

• Every Monitoring Centre Operator holds a current New South Wales Security Industry License, Class 1E
• A dedicated Monitoring Centre Manager who supervises all operations

Why a Monitored Security System?

* Smoke detectors can be connected to your system, and monitored to ensure a swift emergency response.

* Should you ever require an emergency service of any kind, you can alert our monitoring station via the press of a button on your control pad.

* We supply signs and stickers that clearly indicate that your property is alarmed and monitored by Advanced Inland Security.

* And because our monitoring centre team is on call 365 days a year, you can even feel secure if you’re away for extended periods.
